This new episode aims to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the original manga.

According to the report published by the official media of the work, this new chapter will show the university life of the characters Komi Shouko and Hitohito Tadanooffering readers a new look at this stage of their lives after the events presented in the main story. However, so far it has not been specified how many pages this chapter will have nor have more details about its content been revealed, so we will have to wait for its publication.

It should be noted that the new lives of both protagonists were already briefly covered in chapter 500 of the manga, included in the most recent compilation volume of the work, where a scene was presented in which Komi and Tadano talked about their experiences during their university years.

The anime adaptation of Komi Can't Communicate It premiered on October 7, 2021 and had a total of two seasons, totaling 24 episodes. The production was carried out by the animation studio OLMunder the direction of Kazuki Kawagoe and Ayumu Watanabe.
