Synopsis
High School! Kimengumi follows the most absurd and unpredictable situations experienced by a group of completely unconventional students. These young people, united by the club known as "Kimengumi," transform the school routine into a veritable laboratory of chaos, with exaggerated jokes, collective madness, and zero sense of limits.
The original series, created by Motoei Shinzawa, began in 1980 in Weekly Shonen Jump under the title "3-Nen Kimengumi." As the characters progressed through school, the series was renamed "High School! Kimengumi," becoming a groundbreaking success for its time. Between 1985 and 1987, the series also spawned a popular anime series, which became a cultural phenomenon in Japan.
Now, decades later, this crazy and unforgettable group is back in 2026, bringing a new anime to the Reiwa era! The idea is simple: laugh out loud and relieve the stress of the day with totally unusual characters and unpredictable humor.
