The official media outlets for the anime adaptation of the light novel Let This Grieving Soul Retire! (Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai) have revealed new information about the second part of the series. This information concerns the anime's new opening theme song, which will be performed by Kiyono Yasuno and will be titled "Algorithm."
Previously, it was reported that the anime's new ending theme song will be performed by i☆Ris and will be titled "Yume e no Hitokakera."

Synopsis of Let This Grieving Soul Retire!:
As dungeon-like treasure vaults began appearing across the land, more and more people enlisted as treasure hunters, risking their lives to obtain the immense riches and ancient relics within. In the imperial capital of Zebrudia, the most prominent group of hunters is the Banshees: a group of six childhood friends led by Krai Andrey, who is considered the strongest of them all due to his wide variety of skills.
However, Krai has no special talents. In reality, his achievements are due to his friends' surpassing him. Krai has repeatedly tried to leave the group for fear that his lack of skills would one day lead to the downfall of his comrades.
