Following accusations of inappropriate conduct towards a fan, the original voice actor, Toru Furuya, had to step down. It is now Miyu Irinoan actor renowned for his performances in Spirited Away (Haku) and Kingdom Hearts (Sora), who takes over the role.
This change is in itself a difficult adjustment for fans, who have long been accustomed to Furuya's voice. A transition episode is therefore necessary to allow a better acceptance of this new voice.
