Little by little, ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is getting closer to its end and there are only a few chapters of manga left to close the story on September 30. It is noticeable that Gege Akutami has taken the turbo and has already begun to want to thread all the threads that had been left loose to put an end to the very long Grim Battle in Shinjuku.
He Chapter 267 has been a turning point in ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, with a great twist and an unexpected return. But for many, this “plot twist” of Akutami was already coming thanks to the video game ‘Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade’. Or rather, thanks to its opening theme.

One of the big twists that Akutami had planned for us is the revelation that Sukuna’s last finger is safe and protected by the most veteran sorcerers of Jujutsu High. And the other big revelation is that Kugisaki Nobara is alive and has already started using her technique to harm Sukuna from miles away while Yuji beats his face live on air.
But maybe the video clip of Aheadthe main theme of the video game ‘Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade’already warned us at the time that Sukuna’s finger was still missing, and that Nobara was not so dead.
In this music video you can see many references to all of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, including the Cursed Womb, the box containing Sukuna’s finger, Megumi Fushiguro’s domain, the occasional Black Flash or Satoru Gojo’s Six Eyes, among many others. And throughout the entire video clip A single finger is very presentwhich would refer to this last cursed object.
Even though in the manga Nobara Kugisaki had been missing in action (and dead, for the vast majority) for several years, Avant’s video clip resurrected the theories that she had survived Shibuya. Specifically because at minute 2:06 you can see a nail, one of the main elements of his cursed technique, and the four eyes that belong to Sukuna in his true form. And then we have another shot of Sukuna’s finger dangling and trapped.
Not only that, but in the final part of the video, the images become much more chaotic and refer to more and more characters, such as Yuta or Panda, which could symbolize This last battle against Sukuna that has brought together all the main characters of the manga… And in these plans we can also see again Nobara’s nails executing his cursed technique.
So since the release of this video almost a year ago, many fans were still theorizing that Nobara was still alive and would play an important role in the destruction of Sukuna. By now we know that she is indeed alive and kicking, and that she has a grudge against the King of Curses… So who knows? What else did Avant spoil for us? and we haven’t even realized it yet.
