In a few days the third part of 'Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War' begins, which takes us almost into the last part of Ichigo Kurosaki's story. Since the beginning of the saga with the first chapters of 'Bleach', we have seen his tremendous journey to go from being a normal high school student to one of the Shinigami most powerful in history.
But according to his own Tite Kubo, Ichigo isn't the only character in the series who could have pulled it off.
The potential was always there
We don't have to go far if we look at the rest of the human characters in the series. And it is that as revealed by Kubo recently, Yasotura Sado, Orihime Inou and Uryu Ishida They would also have the potential to become Shinigami.
Each of them has their own tailored abilities and powers, and although Uryu is a Quincy he could also become a top Shinigami. As Kubo explained, The first thing each one would need is an Asauchian unnamed basic sword that all low-ranking Shinigami begin training with.
The next step is very simple (but not easy) and is basically the same thing that Ichigo did at the time: train hard. With proper training, this Asauchi sword could become a full-fledged Zanpakuto, thus Chad, Orihime and Uryu They could become Shinigami and gain powers commensurate with their new rank.
Although it must be taken into account that each one uses their spiritual energy very differently from a Shinigami, it would be a rather curious situation to see (especially in the case of Uryu on his Quincy side).
