Chainsaw Man is one of the most talked about mangas today and it has been a breath of fresh air for the shonen genre mainly due to its theme and its constant script twists. Your story has already touched a wide variety of genres and seems to have the development of Denji, its controversial main character, as its top priority.
The first story arcs of this action and black comedy manga were brought to the small screen through an anime series made by MAPPA. This received critical acclaim and many viewers could not help but feel intrigued by the numerous mysteries that surrounded some of its main characters. It also had visually stunning showdownsand this time we will highlight some of the best that this anime of just 12 episodes had.

Denji vs Demon Bat
The first episodes of Chainsaw Man focused mainly on shaping its fictional universe and on introduce Denji's companions. Its third episode delved into Power's past, and this had Denji go on a little adventure antagonized by the Bat Demona giant bat capable of speaking who had kidnapped Power's cat.
Willing to lend a hand, Denji faced this demon in an aerial combat brilliantly animated by MAPPA. Although still not fully accustomed to his new powers, Denji emerged victorious after gutting and dismembering this dangerous demon.
Denji vs Katana Man, Part 1
The introduction of Katana Man to the plot of Chainsaw Man was incredibly shocking, since in a few seconds he managed to seriously injure several of our protagonists by shoot them at point-blank range while they were enjoying a meal. Denji was one of those affected, but the character who bore the brunt was Himenowho was shot in the chest, causing him to lose a large amount of blood.
Aki did everything possible to stop Katana Man and he took help from his contracts with the Fox Demon, the Curse Demon and the Future Demon, but he also ended up being defeated by this new adversary. When it was Denji's turn, he clearly showed how little experience he had fighting other hybrids like him. In the end, our protagonist ended up split in two by a Katana Man that reached sacrifice the life of one of his men to gain victory. Katana Man prepared to take Denji's body away in his vehicle, but was outmatched by none other than Kobeni.
Kobeni vs Sawatari and Katana Man
The most surprising fight of the first season and one of the most disconcerting of the entire work. Kobeni, a character who proved to be clumsy and useless when fighting demons, left viewers speechless when he dodge Sawatari's attack and seriously injure Katana Manthe mysterious hybrid that a few scenes before had defeated our protagonists without too many difficulties.
The young hunter managed to get hold of Denji's body and temporarily use it as a shield to protect himself from Sawatari's shots. Due to the poor condition Katana Man was in, Sawatari decided to run away with him and leave Denji alone. Although brief, this confrontation left spectators dumbfounded.
Denji vs Katana Man, Part 2
Katana Man and his men failed to get hold of Denji's body, but they managed to weaken Public Security by assassinate many members who were scattered throughout Japan. Himeno's death was also a hard blow for our protagonists, and Denji made it clear that he would not miss the opportunity to defeat Katana Man if he appeared before him again.
The situation that Denji wanted so much came true in the last episode of the season. After sharing a few words, Denji and Katana Man transformed and shared attacks in a hallway, on the roof of a building, and finally, on top of a train. The action took them inside one of the cars and Denji took victory thanks to a surprise attack that vertically cut his rival's body.
