The Katana Man arc began in a hectic manner, with this new villain appearing before Denji, Power, Himeno and Aki moments later shoot our heroes at point blank range. Aki, once again demonstrating his bravery, decided to stand up to Katana Man while Power was in charge of helping Himeno and Denji.
The duel was very intense and had a surprising developmentespecially if we take into account the aces up the sleeve that Aki kept, who made use of the terrifying powers of the Curse Demon and even the Future Demon. Thanks to the latter, Aki had the ability to dodge Katana Man's fierce slasheswhich they could decapitate and dismember with extreme ease.
Unfortunately, the fight went awry for our hero when the mysterious Akane Sawatari. She helped Katana Man recover from the damage caused by Aki and easily defeated the Phantom Demon that Himeno summoned in her last breaths of life.
Denji vs the Bomb Demon

If the Katana Man arc already pointed out ways, the Bomb Demon arc raised to a new level several of the strengths that this manga already showed. In it we had the opportunity to meet Praya happy and joking young woman who began to develop romantic feelings for Denji.

Makima vs Denji
Makima managed to get Pochita's heart
The final stretch of the Public Security Saga was plagued by chilling twists. Makima, now recognized as the Control Demon, became a new villain who wanted have Pochita's heart in his hands that Denji keeps inside his body.
Makima showed readers that she was not one of those villains who preferred to stay on the sidelines, in fact, with her own puchos she managed dismember and destroy the body of our tormented protagonist until he literally ripped out his heart. Although Makima was much more powerful, Denji managed to take victory thanks to a previously planned strategy that required the use of the blood of Power, her most faithful friend.
