Although it barely arrived a year after the premiere of the first season, the second season of 'Oshi no Ko' has been a little bumpy. Production problems have caused occasional hiatus throughout the summer broadcast, and the season finale has also been a bit long in coming.
We are closing the broadcast
The second season of 'Oshi no Ko'will consist of a total of 13 episodesbut its last chapter arrives later than expected. As confirmed by the anime production committee, until October 6 at 7:00 PM (Japanese time) will not be broadcast on Japanese television. Although the reason for the delay is not known for sure, it is possible that schedule changes and delays have been piling up.
So we will have to wait until this Sunday to see the outcome of the season, and like the rest of the anime of 'Oshi no Ko'we can follow it in simulcast through AnimeBox in Japanese with Spanish subtitles.
This second season has placed more emphasis on Aqua and Ruby Hoshino's family historywith the most recent chapters exploring their past lives as Goro and Sarina. And with the anime tightening the rope more and more, we can expect the season finale to bring a good bombshell.
With this season finale,'Oshi no Ko'would have adapted the first eight volumes of the manga Aka Akasaka and Mego Yokoyari. Right now there are a total of 15 volumes published (although the manga is getting closer and closer to its end), so we can still wait for a couple more anime seasons to continue adapting the story.
