The Dandadan anime has improved this fight from episode 3
The third episode of the Dandadan anime has already been released and has been loaded with several shocking revelations and that have served to delve deeper into the characters and antagonists of this work. In addition, it also served to introduce a new character who will be of great help to our protagonists, we are referring to Seiko Ayase, Momo's grandmother.
Better known as 'Santa Dodoria', Seiko was the main protagonist of this episode, as she had to face Turbo Abuela, the evil spirit that took control of Okarun's body and threatened to hurt Momo. This caused a big confrontation, which the anime adapted wonderfully and even made a fairly subtle change that greatly improved this conflict, especially compared to the manga.

Although at the beginning of the episode we could think that it was a fraud, because he had not got it right his predictions about a young man for a local television channellater we would discover that he was lying and she had been right in everything he said.
Seiko is definitely a pretty strong character, as she demonstrated when fighting against Turbo Abuela in a great demonstration of techniques. But that's not all, since Science SARU implemented a slight and subtle change that suited it very well.

And, in both the manga and the anime, Seiko drew a circle on the ground and placed a nail out of this one, which made it so that when Turbo Grandma moved outside this space, she would be burned. Later, in the source material, she pulls another nail out of her jacket and drops it into the circle to burn her inside it. However, the series goes beyond this.
In the anime, we see Seiko draw a larger circle around the original and put the nail between the two circles to later erase the inside with her feet, caused the barrier to appear inside and, consequentlyfiercely burning Turbo Abuela. This was a fairly subtle change between the manga and anime, but it served to show us that he is a pretty strong character. In fact, the series has improved this combat with this detail.
Not to mention that this small feat that also seems unnecessary showed that Seiko is an experienced woman and has a lot of strategy. In fact, he is not just a pretty face, but he has great potential to confront evil spirits with his barrier ability.

Obviously, this is not the only change that the series has had, since this same episode 3 included a post-credits scene that was shown in an extra of the first volume of Dandadan and that You can't even see it on MangaPlus, for example. Here we see Momo taking off her medium's outfit, which explains why she doesn't appear in this robe in the next episode. Science SARU is definitely doing very well with this anime adaptation.
