PLAYISM has announced a collaboration between the popular video game “DEEEER Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game“and the anime”Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan (My Deer Friend Nokotan)”. This event, available for a limited time, will allow players to perform the Shikanoko Danceaccompanied by the anime's opening theme, “Shikairo Days.”
The collaboration will be active from January 7 to March 31, 2025, with the possibility of accessing the content differently depending on the platform. On Steam, the content will be distributed as the free SHIKANOKO DANCE DLC between January 7 at 10:00 AM and February 4 at 9:59 AM (PST).
Once the distribution period has ended, the content will be removed from all platforms (Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®4, Xbox/Microsoft Store). However, due to copyright restrictions, the collaboration will not be available in certain regions, including China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
In this quirky game, players take on the role of an “average deer,” using a springy neck, sharp antlers, and other animal skills to wreak havoc on a quiet town. From destroying the city to facing off against animal police—including kung-fu master sheep and bears that transform into cars—the game combines chaos, humor, and a touch of mystery.
Based on Oshioshio's comedy manga, “Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan” debuted in July 2024, capturing viewers' attention with its eccentric story and catchy opening theme “Shikairo Days.” The song and the Shikanoko Dance quickly went viral on TikTok and other platforms.
The story follows Torako Koshi, a seemingly exemplary student, who saves a strange girl with antlers named Noko Shikanoko. Their meeting marks the beginning of a hilarious and chaotic friendship between a girl (an ex-criminal) and a “doe.” With this unexpected but fun collaboration, “DEEEER Simulator” and “Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan” promise to deliver a memorable experience for fans of chaos and comedy.
