When asked about the characters in the series, Momoco revealed that Alya Kujou is her favorite to illustrate. “I love working with characters with bright hair because it makes lighting effects a lot easier.“he commented. However, he acknowledged that male characters, especially older ones, present a challenge: “It’s hard to capture the right details in them..”

For the first time, Momoco experienced his art come to life in an animated adaptation. “It was a constant discovery”he explained when reflecting on the decisions of the animation team, which simplified and stylized certain elements of their original designs. Inspired by this experience, she now spends more time practicing varied perspectives and angles in her drawings.

In a genre where clear and simple compositions predominate, Momoco has begun to experiment with unconventional perspectives. “I’ve been trying angles from above or below, and placing the light in unexpected positions“, said. This innovative approach has brought freshness to his illustrations, something that fans of his work are sure to love.

Despite her busy schedule, Momoco maintains a balanced attitude towards her creative process. “I try not to obsess over the details. If I feel a section is ‘good enough,’ I move on to the next step without hesitation.”, he stated. This philosophy allows you to move forward without falling into the trap of exhausting perfection.

The first season of the anime received praise for its fidelity to the source material and vibrant animation, which has led to confirmation of a second season currently in production. As for the light novel, the dynamic between the intelligent and enigmatic Alya Kujou and the carefree Masachika Kuze continues to captivate readers with its humor and romance.
