We are warming up the engines for the autumn anime premieres, and among the newly arrived series we will have the adaptation of 'Yakuza Fiancé' ('Raise wa Tanin ga Ī'), which in Spain is published under the title of 'My Yakuza fiancé.'
Drama, shootings and a strange romance
Asuka Konishi's manga combines a Romantic drama with a crime and mafia story. It follows Yoshino Somei, the yakuza princess of Osaka's largest crime family, who is betrothed to a member of a rival family in order to seal a truce between the two organizations. At first, Miyama Kirishima seems charming, a popular boy his age and quite normal… But he ends up being a sadomasochist who loves that she has a tremendous character.
The anime of 'My Yakuza fiancé'' was confirmed last year, and now its release date has been set for October 2024although the exact date has yet to be revealed. A new trailer has also been released, along with more character images and the main cast has been confirmed.
We also know that, in principle, we will be able to follow the anime in simulcast through Crunchyroll. And with this first trailer for 'My Yakuza Fiancé' we have heard a preview of 'Nani Waratonnen', the credits theme.
Hitomi Ueda will be voiced by Somei Yoshino, while Akira Ishida will be Miyama Kirishima. Toshifumi Kawase will direct the series with Studio DEENwith Rika Takasugi as main scriptwriter, Itsuko Takeda as character designer, and Masato Suzuki as soundtrack composer.
