They succeeded! The manga “Monochrome Days”, by Matsumoto Yosuke, was about to be canceled after his second compilation volumebut thanks to the mass support of fans, both in Japan and abroad, The editorial has allowed the story to continue.
For those who do not know him, “Monochrome Days” follows Fudo Hanaichi, an wage earner who had already renounced his dream of being mangaka. But his partner, Wakaba Saori, drags him (literally) to help her with his own manga, and little by little, Hanaichi begins to recover inspiration.
The own Matsumoto-Sensei shared a message of thanks and explained the current situation of the manga:
- «Monochrome Days began with the condition that, if it was not successful, it would end in volume 2. But thanks to all of you, we managed to avoid that destination. Really, thank you very much !!! Now the following obstacle is volume 4. If the sales of physical volumes are not enough by then, there it ends! So if there is someone out there who enjoys manga every week but does not have the volumes yet … Please consider it !! (In fact, I make the chapters thinking about the volume format, so reading them together is twice as fun)».

He also left advice for those who have not been able to find the volumes in physical stores:
- «Where to buy them? I have received many messages from 'They sold out!' (In my town they only brought a copy). My recommendation is Amazon, because it is the safest. But you can also find them in animate or large bookstores».
This adds to the list of sleeves that have changed their destiny thanks to the support of fans. It is not the first time that happens, since last year “Love-Bullet”, a Yuri romance manga, achieved reprints thanks to the pressure of readers around the world. For now, “Monochrome Days” has won some time, but its future remains in the hands of fans.
