Season 7 of My Hero Academia is set to end in a few weeks now, and some are hoping that the finale will culminate in a fight that fans of Kōhei Horikoshi's manga have been eagerly awaiting.
As one of the most popular shonen series of recent years, season 7 of My Hero Academia has once again met the expectations of fans, who are eager to see the Final Battle Arc come to life on their screens. This is a very important season for the story, as it is supposed to be the penultimate season of the anime.
Season 7 adapted the last three arcs of the manga, namely the Star and Stripe Arc, the Traitor of Yuei Arc and finally the Final Battle Arc. It will normally consist of 21 episodes. So far, 14 of them have been broadcast, covering several important incidents such as the fight between Shoto and Dabi (or Dabi in the original version), but also that of Endeavor and the other Heroes against All For One, without forgetting of course the “death” of Bakugo.
But before the season ends, there are still a few episodes to cover. And it is on Reddit that an Internet user gave his prediction regarding the fights to come by the end of season 7. WARNING: This article contains SPOILERS about the manga My Hero Academia !
According to him, episode 15 will show Present Mic's fight against Black Mist, leading to the latter's awakening and arrival in U.A. The next episode will focus on the return of Gentle and Lady Nagant, followed by Hawks and others' fight against All For One in episodes 17 and 18.
This suggests that the last three episodes of season 7 of My Hero Academia will be dedicated to some of the best fights in the manga. Episode 19 will conclude the Todoroki family's story in the Final Battle, ending with Dabi's defeat.
The next episode will focus on Ochaco's fight against Toga, with the Parade of the Dead and the awakening of the young heroine's Quirk. So this means that the last episode of season 7 could feature the long-awaited fight between All For One and Iron Might. (the nickname given to the eponymous hero's Armored All Might suit).
The rematch between these two long-time enemies is for many one of the best moments of the series, which is why many fans are eagerly awaiting to see this fight on screen. Another netizen then responded to these predictions by stating: “That would be fucking hype.”
“That moment was so amazing. Straight up ‘Oh yeah, All Might is just as crazy as Midoriya, in case you haven’t figured it out yet’”added another.
“Ending the episode with the scene where All Might stares at AFO while holding the suitcase would be so hype”added a third.
And while fans are more than eager to see the anime adaptation of this clash, they are also wondering what the future holds for the series. As some have noticed that after All Might's fight, there are only three major incidents left in the arc, leading them to wonder if that will be enough for an entire season.
“Stupid question, but is there really enough content for a season after this? Like OFA vs All Might and then the finale with Shigaraki vs Deku and an immediate ending”asked one user.
Another added: “I don't know if there will be enough material after this for a whole season, wasn't this the last fight shown before Deku beat Shiggy?”
