On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Ayano Takeda and illustrated by MusshuFlower and Asura (Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku)”, the first promotional video of the project was revealed. The video confirms that The premiere is scheduled for the Winter-2025 season (January-March) in Japanand lists the members of the voice cast and production crew.

For its part, Ayano Takeda (Hibike! Euphonium) and Musshu (Furidashi ni Ochiro) began publishing the manga through the magazine Ultra Jump from the publisher Shueisha in June 2021, where it is still in serialization. Takeda is also the author of the renowned novel franchise “Hibike! Euphonium“, which has been published since 2013 and has received multiple adaptations by studios Kyoto Animation.

  • Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Black Clover, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken, BLEACH) is responsible for writing and supervising the scripts.
  • Kou Aine (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, Tonikaku Kawaii, Neko Kaburi-Na) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
  • Masaru Yokoyama (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Horimiya, Plastic Memories) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.

Flower and Asura Synopsis

Hana lives on the small island of Tonakijima, population 600, and loves reading to the island’s children. Mizuki, the president of the school’s broadcasting club, notices Hana’s talent for engaging others through her storytelling and invites her to join the club. As Hana embarks on this new journey, she experiences many “firsts” with the broadcasting club members, further deepening her love of reading.
