Miko Yotsuya’s eyes are watering as she fixates on a single point on her phone, ignoring another hideous and horrible monster in her face, uttering the haunting words: “Can you see me?” Until now, Miko enjoyed her high school days without pretensions, in which late-night horror shows only served as a form of entertainment. But since one fateful day, she is the only person aware of the invisible monsters that walk freely among humans.
Bravely, Miko makes a bold decision: she will never, under any conditions, acknowledge the presence of the horrible specters. However, even though she pretends they don’t exist, she can see how they annoy the people around her, especially her best friend, the energetic and charming Hana Yurikawa. To protect them from the monsters’ annoyances, Miko tries her best to continue with her school life and avoid all troublesome crises, even when they scare her to tears.
