It should be noted that the editor of “Jujutsu Kaisen” had assured that the franchise would have something very important to announce in its final chapterbut if the announcement was that the literary franchise had reached 100 million copies in circulation, then there are plenty of reasons for fans to be disappointed about that.
Also not included were any updates on the anime adaptation's upcoming sequel, currently in production by MAPPA studios. In fact, the final chapter of “Jujutsu Kaisen” is a case worthy of analysis, being published practically without pain or glory (beyond a countdown that Shueisha prepared) and being overshadowed by the expected return of “HUNTER x HUNTER”, a return that may not last long.
Of course, many of the projects celebrating the end of “Jujutsu Kaisen” include exclusive content for Japan, such as an official guide printed in October, an exhibition next year and the upcoming Hidden Inventory Arc/Premature Death compilation film. But if we compare it with everything that surrounded the final chapter of “My Hero Academia” (not in terms of narrative, but in terms of advertising), does “Jujutsu Kaisen” rank above or below?
