Few works have achieved the same success as Demon Slayer, the fascinating shonen adventure based on the manga created by Koyoharu Gotouge. The tragic stories of some of its best supporting characters, its important message of self-improvement and the dazzling action scenes of its anime version have managed to awaken the enthusiasm of a surprising number of people.

The incredible popularity of Demon Slayer has allowed it to have their own spin-offs and that its main story be taken to other entertainment formats and media. An example of this is Demon Slayer -KIMETSU NO YAIBA- the stage Part 5: Attack on the Swordsmith Villagea new play based on this important IP.

Blacksmith Village Arc Will Be Reenacted by Real Actors in Upcoming Demon Slayer Play

According to reports Crunchyrollthis ambitious play will recreate some of the best moments of the arc of the Blacksmiths Village and its premiere is set for next April in Tokyo and Hyogo. In addition, the responsible team has shared a first poster and some photos of the main actors already characterized in their respective roles.

The cast is led by Shogo Sakamoto (Tanjiro Kamado), Karen Takahashi (Nezuko Kamado) and Yoshihide Sasaki (Muzan Kibutsuji). The script of the play and the production tasks are carried out by Tsuneyasu Motoyoshiwho has worked on other anime franchises such as My Hero Academia. Additionally, Crunchyroll has noted that Demon Slayer -KIMETSU NO YAIBA- the stage Part 5: Attack on the Swordsmith Village will be the fifth play inspired by Gotouge's manga.

The Blacksmith Village arc was adapted in the third season of Demon Slayer. In it it is narrated the unexpected arrival of 2 Superior Moons to the secret village of the blacksmiths, the place where weapons are forged used by members of the Demon Extermination Corps.

As for the Demon Slayer anime, there is one underway a trilogy of anime films which will feature fantastic animation by Ufotable and will adapt the arch of the Infinite Castleone of the highest rated of the entire franchise.
