The “Date A Live” franchise is partying, celebrating its twelfth anniversary with the announcement of twelve new projects for this year. The first of these will be a special program to review the fifth season, which will be released on April 10, 2025. Since it started in 2013, “Date A Live” has had five anime seasons and several films, so this anniversary promises a lot for fans.
This year, projects are inspired by the 12 spirits of the series, which has uploaded expectations. Next, we tell you two important ads:
- Project 1: Special Recapitulation Program of Season 5 (April 10) – The first confirmed project is the special program entitled “Give up live V recap special“, which will premiere on April 10. In this program, the Seiyuus will participate Nobunaga Shimazaki (Shido iTSuka), Marina Inoue (Tohka Yatogami) and Aya endo (Mio Takamiya). They will review the entire season 5, there will be a question and answers session with the author Koshi Tachibana, and also some surprises and advances of what is to come in the other anniversary projects. The chosen date is special, since it marks the first anniversary of season 5 and is also relevant to Tohka's character, since “Toh” means “10” in Japanese.
- Project 2: Anniversary Store at Gamers (April 12-27) – Another project is the “12th Anniversary Store” in Gamers, a temporary store that will be available from April 12 to 27 in Japan. In it, fans can find exclusive illustrated products, special merchandise and participate in raffles and raffles. A great opportunity for collectors!

What else? 10 more projects to announce. Now, all this Hype has also raised expectations about a possible sixth season.
Although season 5 already left us with the feeling that history was ahead at the end of light novels (And that worried many, since it seemed that they were adapting the end of the series), Fans are still waiting for news of a possible continuation. With all these projects announced, Esperanza is alive, and we just have to wait to see what has prepared the future of Date to Live!
