The anime adaptation of the popular manga “Dandadan“, by Yukinobu Tatsu, debuted during the Fall-2024 season, causing a significant impact among fans of science fiction and supernatural stories. The story follows high school students Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura (Okarun), who, after a peculiar bet about the existence of ghosts and aliens, find themselves involved in a series of dangerous encounters with these entities.

The anime, acclaimed for its high-quality animation, exciting narrative, and beloved characters, closed its first season in December 2024 with great international success. Shonen Jump Plus editor Shihei Lin shared the series' achievements on Twitter on New Year's Eve, noting that the anime had reached the number one spot on several streaming platforms worldwide.

The first season finale left fans in suspense by introducing the Cursed House Arc. In this exciting denouement, Jiji and Okarun discover a secret room in the Cursed House, while Momo faces unexpected problems with the Kito Family in an onsen. The second season, scheduled for July 2025, will adapt the Arcs of the Cursed House and the Evil Eye, if it maintains the same number of episodes as the first installment.
