The H industry is full of surprises, and recently fans got one of them. As we have previously mentioned, the majority of artists, it is said, are women, and this was demonstrated again when “Chaisia,” a well-known H-themed anime girl illustrator, revealed that she had been a ballet dancer in the past.

The artist shared this revelation via Twitter, showing her days as a ballet dancer next to a current image working in her studio while drawing H illustrations. This publication soon spread on social networks, inspiring comments such as the following:
- «What are the chances that a former professional dancer will notice me?».
- «You have beautiful feet, I mean that in the sense of a dancer and not in that of a pervert (I used to do pointe too!)».
- «Life skills I guess? By the way, I heard that ballet can be hard on the toes, like that scene in a certain John Wick movie».
- «It’s a more natural transition than you think. Dancing doesn’t pay the rent».
- «Well, I think you could do both, one as a hobby and the other for a living (which could also be a hobby!)».
- «I’m Sorry Ballet Is So Competitive, But At Least Nerds Are Reliable Perverts».
- «It’s a pretty drastic career change. I’m curious to know how you got from point A to point B.».
- «What made you change careers?».
- «Having met quite a few aspiring dancers, it’s almost a blessing when they get injured, because they find careers that they really enjoy and where they can make money, rather than being in a constant state of anxiety and fear.».
- «Honestly, it sounds like you have a lot of talent.».
- «How come you have two talents? I don’t even have one».
- «Can you still do pointe? Are ballerinas like gymnasts, if your chest grows too much you can’t continue?».
Unfortunately, not everything was positive. The artist soon faced harsh criticism that led her to respond with another publication: «They called me a whore, accused me of exploiting men, insulted my appearance, and told me I should stop making art. Meanwhile, I was just lying in my bed, drinking my tea, happily drawing anime girls without clothes, enjoying a life free of the depression and pain that ballet caused me.».

And this also immediately attracted comments:
- «It’s hard to deal with that kind of feedback from other people, but the satisfaction of knowing you’re in a better situation for yourself is more than enough, especially on the really hard days. I’m happy for you».
- «I love that costume, it’s so cute! Do you remember what you were working on when you were using that one? Live your life, girl!».
- «Looks like you’re winning. But what flavor of tea? That could make a big difference in how much you’re earning».
- «I love seeing your art. It always gives me a good dopamine rush. Thank you for your hard work. 🫡 Let the haters go fry asparagus».
- «Ok, but how did you learn to draw? Do you have any tips or recommended guides? I can barely draw stick monkeys, but I really want to draw the Precure girls and cute magical girls.».
- «If you make enough money from art to live, it’s an incredible thing. I think people don’t understand how difficult it is to achieve this, even by going the route that supposedly pays the most. Now, do hentai furry and double the income».
- «I don’t understand why people care so much anyway. There should be more positivity».
- «That attitude is amazing! Keep being cool and don’t pay attention to the haters».
- «Living your best life is the easiest way to make enemies. You can handle this!».
- «As a male artist, why do they never say that about male artists?».
- «Honestly, you can’t ask for a better life than that. Plus, you contribute to this amazing culture».
- «In my case, I went from being a ballet dancer to drawing dark fantasy art that still has some ties to when I took ballet classes».
