An artist has drawn the cover of volume 1 of Frieren with the characters from Dungeons and Dragons
In January 2024 it premiered Tragons and Dungeonsa great anime that adapts the first story arcs of the manga created by Ryōko Kui. The series, full of nods to role-playing classics like Dungeons and Dragons, has gradually become one of the best Netflix exclusives and in a proposal especially recommended for any fan of magic animes.
The fun adventures that we saw during its first season and the charisma of its cast of main characters have allowed Tragones y Dunmorras to be a very beloved work, to the point of receiving numerous tributes in the form of cosplays and fanarts. On this occasion, we have decided to share a great illustration that allows us to see what it would be like the legendary cover of the first volume of Frieren with the characters from Dungeons and Dragons.

A surprising fanart that unites two of the best fantasy animes of today
The illustration that you will see below has been made by @KagawaRaifua talented artist who celebrated the first anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons drawing Laios and company in a pose similar to that of the characters in Frieren's manga in the cover of its first volume.

Frieren has been replaced by Marcille Donato, who is shown in a relaxed position, holding her magic staff in her hands. Next to her is Laios Touden imitating the hero Himmel and, next to him, we can see the dwarf Senshi representing Eisen, a character with whom he has many characteristics in common. @KagawaRaifu has also included Chilchuck and Izutsumi, the latter directly represented as a cat.
Although both are fantasy animes, Frieren: After the Journey ends has more dramatic than comedic moments. Its story focuses mainly on Frieren's experiencesan elf who deeply hates demons and has lived for more than 1,000 years. After losing a very dear person, Frieren will embark on a trip around the world helping human beings with their magical powers.

Frieren's manga is quite popular in Japan and has more than 135 chapters publishedalthough its serialization is currently on pause. As for Tragones y Dunmorras, its manga version consists of 14 volumes in total and the second season of its anime adaptation has been confirmed by Netflix.
