If you have been watching anime for some time, you have surely heard of talking about Hideki Araki On more than one occasion. He is a veteran of the industry who has worked on iconic projects such as “Inuyasha (2000)“,”Ginga Eiyuu densetsu (1988)“, and “Steamboy (2004)” But recently, fans discovered something quite curious: His career took an unexpected turn and now he is completely dedicated to direct H.
Although there are no personal details, Araki has a trajectory that covers more than 40 years, through different roles as director, characters designer and key animator. However, although at first he worked in large -scale commercial productions, he was gradually leaning towards the adult anime industry. Currently, its history is full of titles such as “Sakusei Byoutou (2021)”, “Mama X Holic (2021)”, and “Sleoppless Night (2023)”, so the question is inevitable: what led him to take this decision?
Although Araki has not made statements about itthere are several reasons why an animator could decide to change course towards adult animation:
