Beyond Journey's End Season 2 Reveals Mrs. Green Apple Opening in Final Trailer

The countdown is about to end. Just five days before the grand premiere of its second season, the anime adaptation of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (Sousou no Frieren) has turned on the social networks with the release of their latest promotional video.

The video, published on the YouTube channel of TOHO Animationnot only shows a new trailer for the second season of the series, but also reveals the opening theme of this installment. The song will be titled “lulu» and will be performed by the popular band Mrs. Green Apple.

The big surprise of this announcement is the addition of the veteran voice actor Kazuhiko Inoue to the cast. Known worldwide for giving voice to Kakashi Hatake in Naruto, Inoue will play the «Southern Hero«.

The second season of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End will premiere in Japan on January 16, 2026. For the Latin American public, the series will be available legally and simultaneously through Crunchyroll.
