New visual of the anime Dorohedoro Season 2
This new visual features Caiman, transformed into a lizard by a sorcerer's magic, with half of his body revealing his organs, like an anatomical model. Also visible are sorcerer masks hanging from butcher's hooks, striking elements that contrast with Caiman's relaxed expression and the poster's surprisingly vibrant and colorful atmosphere.
In Japan, season 2 of the Dorohedoro anime will air in spring 2026. Its exact release date and official broadcaster in France will be specified later.
Dorohedoro Anime Summary
In the dark city of Hole, a notorious neighborhood where the powerful mercilessly prey on the weak and death is commonplace, mages occupy the top of the food chain. Feared like the plague by the city's other inhabitants, they enjoy their superiority by murdering, torturing, and conducting dubious experiments on anyone who gets in their way.
With no one to challenge their authority, in a city where law and ethics have long since disappeared, magic users fear almost no one. Caiman, a former human transformed into a lizard and suffering from amnesia after being hit by a curse, is now immune to magic and hunts down sorcerers in the hope of finding the person responsible for his misfortune.
Alongside his partner Nikaïdo, who runs the Hungry Bug restaurant, Caïman does everything he can to recover his true face and his lost memories. But his quest is no walk in the park: En, the leader of the mages, is determined to put an end to this famous lizard who is massacring his comrades. So, he sends Shin, Noi, Ebisu and Fujita after him, killers ready to do anything to eliminate him.
Yuichiro Hayashi is directing this sequel at MAPPA animation studio. The rest of the creative staff and cast for this second season have not yet been announced.
This anime is adapted from the eponymous manga written and drawn by Q Hayashida, pre-published between November 2000 and September 2018 in the magazine Gekkan Shonen Sunday of the publisher Shogakukan. In France, the manga is published by Soleil Manga and the first season of the animated series is available on Netflix.
