The anime adaptation of Shizumu Watanabe's Shonen manga, Dead Account, presented a new visual image and confirmed its premiere for January 2026. Along with this news, the first promotional video of the series was presented to the public on Nippon Columbia's official YouTube channel, which lasts 53 seconds.

But that's not all, as the official Dead Account anime website has introduced the public to the new members of the voice cast, as well as the production team who will be participating in the series.
Voice actor Natsuki Hanae, known for voicing Tanjirou Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Ken Takakura in Dandadan, will play Renri Hasumi.
Voice actress Machico, known for voicing Toukai Teiou in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, will play Hiyori Haijima.
Voice actor Ryouta Suzuki, known for voicing Ryuusui Nanami in Dr. Stone and Yuu Ishigami in Kaguya-sama: Love is War, will play Maruhiko Emoto.
Voice actor Takuya Satou, known for voicing Ryuunosuke Tsunashi in IDOLiSH7, will be portraying Yoimaru Azaki.
The Dead Account anime production team is as follows: Keiya Saitou is directing. Animation studio Synergy SP is producing the animation. Mitsutaka Hirota is supervising the scripts. Keiji Inai is composing the soundtrack. Nippon Columbia is producing the music.

Dead Account is an action shonen manga written and illustrated by Shizumu Watanabe. This manga began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in January 2023, although in October of that same year, the work was transferred to the Magazine Pocket service. Dead Account is still in serialization.
